Craft
We value the hand of the maker and the intelligence of well-made things. Every detail is chosen for its material honesty and its place in the whole.
Residential Design
About
A home, made personal
Principal & Founder—Jenn Giles
Signature Home Design grew out of something most luxury interior designers can't claim: a childhood spent inside the construction process. Jenn Giles grew up in a residential building family — on job sites, in plan reviews, in conversations about structure and material that most designers never have.
That foundation shapes everything. Based in La Jolla and serving San Diego, CA and the surrounding communities, Jenn designs both interiors and exteriors with a fluency that bridges vision and build. As a full-service residential interior designer, she catches problems early, communicates clearly with contractors, and delivers spaces that are as well-constructed as they are beautiful.
She is equally serious about budget. Good design should never be a luxury reserved for the few. Every project — from whole-home renovations to new custom builds — is managed with the same discipline she brings to the design itself, so the result is never compromised.
“The rooms I'm most proud of are the ones where nothing was sacrificed — not the design, not the budget, not the client's vision.”
Our Philosophy
02
Value
Good design should never break the bank. We are obsessed with delivering beautiful, well-crafted spaces that respect your budget — without cutting corners on what matters.
03
Longevity
We design beyond the immediate moment. Materials, furnishings, and plans are chosen to become more meaningful with time.
Our Process
A Collaborative Approach. Intentional Design. Timeless Results.
01
Discovery
We begin with a meaningful conversation to understand how you live, what you value, and what your home should feel like. This sets the foundation for a home that is uniquely yours.
02
Vision
We translate inspiration into a clear design direction. Through mood boards, floor plans, and material exploration, we shape a vision that balances beauty, function, and your everyday life.
03
Design Development
Our team creates detailed drawings, specifications, and selections for every element of your home. We refine each detail to ensure the design is as practical as it is beautiful.
04
Project Coordination
We partner with your architect and work seamlessly with your builder—or leverage our trusted in-house team. With construction knowledge and hands-on management, we keep your project on track, on budget, and built to the highest standard. This is the advantage of working with Signature Home Design—we design, coordinate, and build.
05
Installation & Styling
We oversee every installation and finishing touch. From furnishings to final styling, we ensure your home is move-in ready and every detail feels intentional.
“Great design isn’t just about how a home looks—it’s about how it lives.”
Jenn Giles
“Working with Jenn felt effortless. She understood what we wanted before we could articulate it ourselves — and the result is a home we fall in love with every single day.”
